Still requring another Parent Helper for P5-7 trip

P5-7 are to be visiting Auchterhouse Primary School on Thursday 8th May to take part in a science event.  Mr McKell and Mrs McNicol will both be transporting pupils by car but we need another parent helper to help transport pupils there and back.  We will be leaving Isla shortly after lunch at approx 12.50pm and be returning for 3.20pm in time for home transport as normal.  Please email the school office if you are able to help with travel arrangements asap.  Many thanks.

WHS Wellbeing Evening - Wednesday 14th May 2025

Webster's High School Wellbeing Evening - Wednesday 14th May 2025, 6.00pm

Please save the date of the above event which is being run for parents/carers of all Webster's pupils and those currently in P6 and P7 at our cluster primary schools.

Ensuring the best physical and emotional wellbeing of our young people is paramount if we are to support them to achieve their best at school and beyond. This is central to our involvement in the Planet Youth programme which is focused on improving young people’s health, wellbeing and relationships and working closely with families and our wider school community to achieve this.

Parents/carers can book places in up to three 30 minute information sessions from the provisional list below: 
 

  • Managing Feelings of Stress/Anxiety
  • Understanding the Teenage Brain
  • Reducing Vaping in our Children and Young People
  • Resilience – equipping ourselves with the tools to cope with life’s challenges
  • Gaming and its links to Gambling
  • Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
  • CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)
  • Social Media/The Online World
  • Sleep


Further details and instructions on how to book will be sent out as soon as the final list of sessions has been confirmed.

Nursery and P1 family breakfast

Good morning,

A gentle reminder that there will be a relaxed family breakfast for parents/carers of Nursery and P1 tomorrow (2nd April) from 0900-1000.  An opportunity to play will be available, along with feedback relating to the "Red Bag" project.

Please see attached new School Menus from Tayside Contracts which will come into effect week commencing 21st April 2025 after the Easter holidays. 

Please also note from today 1st April 2025, P6 & P7 meals have increased to £2.40 per day. Free School Meals are still available for all pupils from Nursery - P5.
